I decided today to raise the question, How do you use PcLinuxOS? Do you use it for business? Do you use it for personal use? How do you use it? Do you have all the software you need to do your work? What software do you need that is not available for PCLinuxOS? Is there an alternative software you could use but it does not meet your requirements?
I have a dual-boot system with Vista and PCLinuxOS. PCLinuxOS is used for on-line college courses and everyday personal use. I have been very satisfied with the software available thus far but I do use Microsoft’s Flight Simulator 2004 so I do use Vista for that. Unfortunately I also have to use Vista for one of my classes because it requires the latest Internet Explorer. I have attempted to install the latest IE with wine but I was unsuccessful.
Overall, I use PCLinuxOS as much as possible. In fact, it kills me when I am left with no choice but to reboot into Vista. What is your experience with PCLinuxOS like?
